Middle+ Account Manager

25/8 is a fully remote PR Agency which work with the best tech companies and startups around the globe. Now we are looking for Account Manager with strong expertise in PR of tech products.

Role description

This is a full-time, remote role for a Middle+ Account Manager at 25/8 PR Agency. You will be managing up to two clients personally, creating and executing Q&A sessions, developing PR strategies, and maintaining relationships with journalists in the tech and business sectors. We also work with tools such as Asana, Google Spreadsheets, and Google Docs, with a focus on transparent and regular communication between clients and the team.

Responsibilities

— Conduct individual Q&A and create a PR plan
— Create technical specifications for writers, communicate with them and control the quality of materials
— Work with journalists: know specialized media and journalists from tech & business, understand the formats and topics that each of them works with; pitch journalists competently
— Build long-term and trusting relationships with the client, maintain customer service at a high level
— Immerse yourself in the product and help the client with positioning in the public sphere
— Research competitors, the market, new opportunities and generate creative topics and integrations
— Process project reporting in a timely manner. We work in Asana, Google Spreadsheets, Google Docs. Daily: the results of each day in the chat with the team. Every week: write a status in the chat with clients about the results of the past week

Qualifications

— At least one year of experience in PR for technology in global markets (MENA, USA, Europe, UK)
— Successful case studies you can showcase
— Independence: you need to fully manage the client (excluding contracts, invoices, and other paperwork)
— Ability to defend your point of view with the client and not give in to every “no” from journalists
— Knowledge of specialized journalists in business and technology
— Strong intuition for good writing
— Daily focus on results
— Bonus: It’s great if you have your own pool of writers and contributors
