Accountant

ANOTECH Energy is looking to hire a new Accountant for its Russian branch
ANOTECH Energy was founded in 2006 to provide engineering & construction consulting services to the energy industry.
From the beginning, we’ve developed our expertise in technical fields of all energy sectors, including Oil and Gas (E&P), Renewable Energies, Nuclear, Refinery, Petrochemical, Civil & Infrastructure, Mining.
ANOTECH operates in over 63 countries worldwide. Headquartered in France (Toulouse and Paris), ANOTECH has also established offices in London, Moscow, Baku, Houston, Abu Dhabi, Singapore and others major energy centers.
Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate, efficient and timely transaction processing in the local ERP system – Unit4 Agresso, including but not limited to the following areas:
  • Accounting of suppliers’ invoices, freelancers’ invoices, expense reports.
  • Banking records: lettering of payments Accounts payable (AP) and Accounts receivable (AR); banking fees; salaries; VAT; immigration fees; return of funds, etc.
  • Adjustment postings for errors.
  • Various transactions upon request.
  • Research of missing information.
  • Preparation of weekly payments.
  • Control of intercompany invoices: comparison of AP vs AR of other entities, verification of amounts and adjustments if necessary.
  • Participation in month-end accounts reconciliation (1C and Unit4 Agresso).
  • Preparation of payment orders of suppliers and expense reports in 1C.
  • Participation in monthly, quarterly and yearly closings.
  • Interaction with Sub-ledger Accounting Department in France.
  • Communication with other departments on general issues.
Requirements:
  • Higher education in Accounting, Tax, Audit, Finance or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience as an Accountant preferably in international companies
  • Good accounting knowledge and accounting entries
  • Proficiency with 1C:Accounting and MS Excel
  • Fluent English (obligatory)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • You are autonomous, rigorous, proactive, curious, able to handle multiple priorities
  • Flexibility in adapting to change in a business environment
Would be a plus:
  • Good command of French
  • Knowledge of 1C:Payroll and Unit4 Agresso
  • Knowledge of IFRS principles
