We are Address Arts - a creative studio focused on shaping ideas, forging brands, and crafting products that resonate profoundly with those who interact with them. We are an international team who creates DTС brands in the sphere of beauty, health and wellness, food and beverages. We do branding, packaging and websites for the US market and worldwide.
We are looking for a Studio Manager to join our team.
Location: Worldwide, Remote

Role Description

As a Studio Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our creative studio. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing projects, creative team and client communication.
Your effective communication skills are essential for building and maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring project success. Your strong organizational skills and attention to detail will be key in optimizing productivity and delivering high-quality work. Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a design studio or creative agency
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and clients
  • Proficient in project management tools and software
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, while also being a team player
  • Knowledge of design trends is a plus

Responsibilities

Team management:
1. Team Building and Development:
  • Recruit and hire the right talent for the studio.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work culture.
2. Goal Setting and Planning:
  • Set clear project objectives, deadlines, and milestones.
  • Brief team on new projects and tasks.
  • Collaborate with the team to create project plans and schedules.
3. Resource Allocation:
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and strengths.
  • Ensure that resources, including equipment and software, are available and in working condition.
4. Communication:
  • Maintain open lines of communication with team members.
  • Oversee daily operations and follow up regularly.
  • Schedule and organize regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and updates.
  • Listen to team members' concerns and provide feedback.
5. Problem Solving:
  • Address issues and conflicts within the team promptly and professionally.
  • Find solutions to challenges that may arise during the project.
6. Project Management:
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to keep projects on track.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the art director.
  • Manage multiple design projects.
7. Time Management:
  • Help the team manage their time effectively to meet project deadlines.
  • Prioritize tasks and projects to ensure a smooth workflow.
8. Performance Evaluation:
  • Conduct performance evaluations for team members.
  • Provide constructive feedback and set goals for improvement.
9. Conflict Resolution:
  • Mediate conflicts within the team and foster a harmonious work environment.
  • Address any issues related to workload, responsibilities, or interpersonal conflicts.
10. Client Interaction:
  • Act as the primary point of contact with clients.
  • Communicate project updates and ensure client satisfaction.
11. Adaptation and Innovation:
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and technologies.
  • Encourage innovation within the team to stay competitive and creative.
12. Documentation and Record-Keeping:
  • Maintain records of project details, budgets, and team performance.
  • Document best practices and lessons learned for future reference.
13. Employee Well-being:

  • Address burnout and stress issues proactively.

Client communication:
1. Initial Client Inquiries:
  • Respond promptly to initial client inquiries
  • Gather necessary information about the client's needs and expectations.
2. Client Onboarding:
  • Set up initial meetings or consultations to understand the client's project requirements.
  • Explain the studio's services, processes, and pricing to the client.
  • Provide a clear overview of the studio's capabilities and previous work.
3. Project Proposals and Contracts:
  • Prepare detailed project proposals, including timelines, deliverables, and costs.
  • Ensure that contracts are signed by both parties, clarifying all terms and conditions.
4. Regular Communication and Updates:
  • Lead client communication.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries, whether they come through email, Whatsapp chats, or Slack channels.
  • Maintain open lines of communication throughout the project, providing regular updates and project recaps to clients.
  • Address any concerns or questions promptly.
5. Feedback and Revisions:
  • Gather feedback from clients at various stages of the project.
  • Coordinate revisions and adjustments as needed, ensuring client satisfaction.
6. Conflict Resolution:
  • Mediate and resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during the project.
  • Find solutions that are fair to both the studio and the client.
7. Client Invoicing and Payments:
  • Send invoices promptly and follow up on payments.
  • Handle any payment-related queries or issues.
